About Mrs. Jackson

I live in Divide with my husband, 2 children, 2 dogs, and 2 and a half (!) cats.  (We have one cat who lives both with us and with our neighbors!)  I have been teaching for 20 years, 5 of which have been as Columbine and Gateway's Gifted and Talented Teacher.  I love Colorado, and, although not a native, "I got here as fast as I could!"  I am passionate about teaching, and strive to make learning fun. I believe learning should be something students will continue to do for their entire lives, both in the classroom and beyond.  My job allows me to do so many great things with kids and parents.  Explore my website to see more about what I do, and find fun things to do on your computer or at home!  You can contact me at my school email and phone:  719-686-2179
